Ready for something completely different? If you like adventure and people and new experiences Couch Surfing may just be for you.
In just a few short days, I stayed with a couple who had lived on a boat for a year, had a private poolside yoga lesson by a hula-hooping waitress who was studying to be a Naturopathic Doctor, enjoyed a homemade Indian meal with a couple who had only been in the country for one year. Couple that with a full day motorcycle tour with a minimalist, who had crossed the U.S. on his bike and who had barely anything in the way of possessions but everything in the way of happiness and it was a week unlike any I had ever spent in a hotel!
All of the coach surfing hosts I met told me story after story of great experiences they had had both being hosts and being surfers.
Holiday planning is starting soon and I highly encourage you to burst the hotel bubble this year and learn to surf it’s just one more way to live Your Life, Unlimited!
Emanuel Shidali, author of Transformational Principles of Personal Success & Dr. Jill Morris , marriage & family councillor and student of the famed Patch Adams, shared their insights on positive change with me on this week’s Your Life, Unlimited radio show.
Some question to have you thinking this week…
What can you do to engage in a spirit of play this week?
What are you doing that you enjoy so much you lose yourself in the experience?
What are you hungry for? And I’m not asking about food! lol
Enjoy the show here!
